Britt Stewart, from Denver, CO trained intensely across multiple dance styles leading to a career start at 15 years old as a principle dancer in the High School Musical Trilogy. It was those three movies that catapulted her career forward. Her talent and technical command of dance forms has been showcased in movies like the remake of Fame, No Strings Attached, and Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie. Her credits in television include The Voice, Grey’s Anatomy, American Idol, and Glee. She has danced behind leading recording artists like Janet Jackson, the Jonas Brothers, Bebe Rexah, Demi Lovato, Rihanna, and was one of Katy Perry’s back up dancers for three years on her Prismatic World Tour and Super Bowl halftime performance. She is currently one of the female pros on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars for the past 5 seasons and performing in two DWTS: Live tours.
Teaching Latin Fusion, Britt offers students a blend of Latin ballroom styles that speaks to the language of all dancers. Her background, training and experience in the world of commercial dance prior to her ballroom training offers tangible and realistic insights on how access to ballroom dance can be achieved by every dancer no matter their background training.
Britt’s background and experience not only offers a unique Latin class experience, but her passion and ethics within the dance community is evident in her style and the respect she commands in the industry. As a woman in the entertainment industry she has maintained a strong commitment to the art, and an unwavering display of morals and values. She is viewed widely as a healthy and positive role model bringing hope and education to an aspiring generation of dancers.
