Teachers are allowed to observe, take class and take notes in any of the ballrooms.
This includes the Senior, Teen, Junior and special Teacher classes.
Senior Students are allowed in only the senior room and can only audition within their appropriate age category.
Ages 15 and up
Teen Students are allowed in only the teen room and can only audition within their appropriate age category.
Junior Students are allowed in only the junior room and can only audition within their appropriate age category.
Observers pay a small fee to be a spectator in a ballroom for the weekend. As an observer, you will receive a weekend pass to allow access in/out of the ballroom space. Observer guests must remain quiet with proper etiquette throughout class times, as conversation and outside noise distracts the instructor and dancers.
All dancers under 18 years old are REQUIRED to be under chaperone supervision at all times. Fluid Dance is NOT responsible for supervision of ANY convention participant.
We keep the ballroom space safe for our dancers and only allow access/viewing for those who have the appropriate wristband and/or lanyard. These regulations are for the safety and respect of our dancers.
Fluid Dance wristbands MUST be worn throughout the duration of the convention. If a participant's wristband is lost or stolen, they will no longer be able to participate in the convention unless they wish to repay their registration fees.
Space is limited. It is strongly recommended each studio pre-registers. "At the door" registration will be available the morning of the Convention, Day 1, ONLY if space is available. Credit Card or Cash are the only acceptable forms of payment for "at the door" registration.
Auditions for the Fluid Dance Elite Scholarship will be held for all age groups within each city stop. Routine will be taught to auditioning dancers just prior to the audition.
